I am a 32 year old design engineer (I was when I wrote this website in 2003), who started out with a 4 year technical engineering apprenticeship at Rover in Swindon. I stayed at Rover for 12 years with most of that experience as a CNC programmer working in a toolroom based environment. A couple of years ago I left Rover and went self employed, setting up a company called CAM/CAD Solutions. I now work mainly on Aerospace design projects  both as a CAD designer and a CNC Programmer.
    Projects I have designed and built to date are a 6 wheeled pick up truck, a tractor based on Mini components for the third world, and a kit car which is a replica of a 1950's Austin Healey 100. I have a Robot Wars Widow a 3 year old daughter and a newbie son. Hobbies include, 5-a-side football, squash, computing and of course Robot Wars.
